TITLE: WHS - Employability Skills and Career Coach
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Career Coach will work closely with Washington Community Schools, Regional Opportunity Initiatives (ROI), Southern Indiana Education Center (SIEC), and the Daviess County Economic Development Corporation to ensure that every Washington High School student has a career plan after high school. Whether students are directly entering the workforce, trades, military, or post-secondary institutions, each student should engage with the academic, co-curricular, and/or extra-curricular opportunities offered by WHS and/or the community to ensure a meaningful high school experience. The Career Coach will be a valuable member of our College & Career Academy Advisory Team and may be asked to provide a variety of services to ensure our students are connecting with relevant opportunities. These services may include: transporting students to/from job sites, organizing and/or promoting Career Fairs, scheduling guest speakers and/or field trips, and/or celebrating student successes.
This position will include teaching personal finance in the 2025-2026 school year.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Indiana Teaching License or Industry Certification
