WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Under the direction of the provider, provide health education and counseling on topics including diabetes, hyperlipidemia, asthma, hypertension and other diagnosis, provide educational materials and Develop programs, materials and events to teach people about health topics or manage health
• Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and educational materials.
• Help people find health services or information.
• Provide education on smoking cessation including developing interventions and screening for current or past tobacco use
• Provide weight management education including updating goals and developing interventions based on BMI and willingness to lose weight
• Work in the community to provide education and training to students and residents
• A full-time day shift position
• May travel between Working Well locations in Crawfordsville and Central Indiana

QUALIFICATIONS

• Required Bachelor's Degree
• 2 years Health Education, Health Coaching, or related Preferred
• Tobacco Treatment Specialist Certification Preferred
• Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) Required or
• Health Coaching Certification Required
