We are in search of a dedicated Orthodontic Assistant to join our thriving orthodontic practice. Position: Dental Assistant Location: South Jordan Type: Part-Time Shift: Mondays 7:45am-4:30, Thursday (Will alternate between full and half days.The half days will be 11 am-5 pm, and the full days 8 am-4 pm), One Tuesday a month (3rd Tuesday 7:45am-4:30), and one Friday a month (4th Friday half day 6:30 am -12:30 pm).

Responsibilities: - Assist in dental procedure and sterilization processes
- Tray set-ups
- Professionally greet and engage with patients
- Provide clear instructions to patients and parents
- Take X-rays, photos, and impressions
- Keep operatories, sterilization areas, and surgical equipment clean, maintained, and well stocked
Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: one year of dental and/or orthodontic experience but willing to train the right person
- Professional verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport with patients, parents, doctors, and team members
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge or willingness to learn Dentrix Ascend and Sensei
