Job Summary

The position of the Insurance Coordinator is to ensure insurance dental claims are paid in an accurate and timely manner. Below are just a few of the daily tasks and responsibilities this role requires. The work requires that sensitive timelines be met so some flexibility in these

responsibilities will be needed at times.

Just a few of the Responsibilities

• Working with payers to resolve claim issues
• Actively reviewing claims rejection reports and correcting any issues
• Actively work any insurance denials or no pays
• Researching outstanding claims & >30 days in a timely manner
• Submitting refunds requests for any payments made in error
• Submitting corrective claims for any incorrect procedures rendered
• Comprehensive knowledge of insurance plans, member eligibility and dental billing

You Must Have

• Some familiarity using Google suite.
• Strong problem solving and research skills
• Excellent communication skills
• High School Diploma or GED

Nice to Have

• Understanding of CDT Codes and 837 terminologies
