Position Overview:
Irwindale Speedway is seeking a friendly and tech-savvy Live Chat Representative to join our customer service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional support and information to our guests and fans via live chat on our website. This role requires excellent communication skills, a customer-first attitude, and the ability to handle multiple inquiries simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via the live chat platform.
• Provide accurate information regarding events, ticketing, schedules, and general inquiries about Irwindale Speedway.
• Assist customers with online ticket purchases and resolve any issues related to the ticketing process.
• Address customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions to ensure a positive experience.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and event management, to stay updated on current promotions and events.
• Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate channels.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of the live chat processes and protocols.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in customer service or related fields is a plus.
• Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably with live chat support.
• Excellent written communication skills with a focus on clarity and accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with live chat software and customer service platforms.
• Basic knowledge of motorsports or a willingness to learn about Irwindale Speedway's events and activities.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
