Job Description: As a key member of our creative marketing team, you will be responsible for crafting compelling storytelling strategies for product, business, and event marketing initiatives. We are seeking a seasoned Videographer who can contribute to and elevate the Xyngular brand. Adaptability, collaboration, and a strong grasp of social media trends are essential qualities for success in this role.
Responsibilities: - Produce videos from conception to completion, including filming, lighting, directing talent, scriptwriting, voice-over recording, editing, and incorporating graphic elements and background music.
- Collaborate with the Creative Director and Marketing Team to ensure consistency and quality of the brand across all video and photography projects.
- Efficiently maintain updated video content to reflect changes in products or characteristics.
- Manage the entire process of posting completed videos to various media outlets.
- Deliver video content consistently at a high quality and pace.
- Capture video footage at off-site special events and provide on-site editing for quick turnaround.
- Coordinate, manage, and ensure timely delivery of all video requests.
- Liaison with vendor partners as needed.
- Support other marketing duties as assigned.
Competencies: - Bachelor's degree in film, Fine Arts, or related field preferred. Alternatively, three to five years of experience operating video cameras and editing equipment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in After Effects and Motion Graphics Software.
- Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Strong ability to make creative and technical decisions regarding lighting, shooting angles, and sound.
- Understanding of streaming technology and platforms.
- Knowledge of still photography a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to conceptualize ideas and develop actionable plans and storyboards.
- Collaborative team player, open to feedback and contributing creative ideas.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
- Portfolio showcasing video works/samples.
- Previous experience in the direct sales industry is preferred.
- Up-to-date knowledge of social media product marketing trends.
