Description:

Our Walnut Creek practice is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant/Scribe. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, where multi-tasking skills are key. You will have a high degree of responsibility and independence.

Responsibilities

• Medical Scribe
• Work with a team to room patients and obtain a detailed medical history
• Document all patient appointments and enter charges as instructed by Physician
• Pre-load charts into EHR
• Assist physician with in-office procedures
• Clean exam rooms and medical instruments
• Scheduling appointments
• Taking vital signs and height/weight measurements
• Assisting MD during procedures
• Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned

• Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills
• 1+ years medical office experience
• MA Certificate
• Medical terminology
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Able to commute to Walnut Creek and/or Brentwood locations

Strongly Preferred Qualifications:

• Electronic Health Record (EPIC)

Pay Scale/Ranges:

Starting at $21.00 per hour
