**Job Summary**
The purpose of this role is the set-up, preparation, organization and service of food and beverage items. The Snack Bar Attendant will also monitor inventory levels by ordering supplies, stocking merchandise, and taking inventory of products.
**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
* Set-up and organize snack bar for daily operation including brewing coffee
* Greet customers, take orders, prepare and serve food and beverages to students, faculty and staff
* Operate cash register and receive payments
* Ensure proper food handling procedures including, stocking, storing, rotating and checking temperature of products
* Clean and sanitize work station and equipment
* Order and receive inventory and supplies as needed
* Perform all opening and closing duties based on operational checklists
* Perform other duties as necessary

* High School diploma or equivalent
* Basic knowledge of computers and tablets
* Effective oral and written communication skills
* Skills in decision making
* Skills in organizing and prioritizing work and tasks
* Ability to provide attention to detail
