Job Summary...

Our Acoustics Group is looking for a Software Developer who will be responsible for developing and integrating software into our products, as well as program and team management. In this role, you will create and lead the full software product development process from start to finish, conceptualizing ideas, planning, budgeting, developing, testing, delivering, and upgrading the product. You will also interact with end users and external partners on the finished product.

As the Software Developer, you will be curious, eager to learn new things, research what you need to know and able to communicate your ideas in a clear, concise manner with the ability to advocate for your decisions to the team. You will have the ability to effectively package, deliver, document, test, set up and protect the server.

Required Skills...
  • Adaptability: broad interest in science and technology with a willingness and interest in expanding into new fields and learning new techniques and skills
  • Experience in Product Software Development in both Linux and Windows environments.
  • Experience in C# and C++ development in Linux and Windows environment a MUST!
  • Knowledgeable in programming in MATLAB and Python
  • Well versed in Mathematical Modeling of Physical systems. Math background through Multivariable Calculus and Ordinary Differential Equations
  • Excellent writing skills
Desired Qualifications...
  • Experience in Data Processing, SQL Database, and programing in R is a plus.
  • Experience in Machine Learning algorithms is a plus.
  • Experience in government work is a plus.
Education/Experience...
  • BS degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or closely related field. MS degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of relevant working experience in government commercial software development
