**Recycling Laborer** **Location** Main Campus **Position Highlights** Facilities Management at the University of Arizona is looking for a Laborer to join our Recycling team. * Operates baler, compactor, power washer, and various vehicles.

* Places and picks up barricades.

* Drives a University truck and picks up and unloads materials and equipment at job site.

* Provides labor for other trades. Installs campus signage and fencing. Cleans shops and job sites.

* Picks-up and delivers recycling containers throughout campus. Sorts various materials for recycling.

* Assists with promotion and education of recycling program. Lifts or moves equipment in excess of 50 lbs.

* Works in extreme temperatures wet, smelly, dirty conditions.

**Minimum Qualifications**

* High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience may be required.

* Valid Arizona drivers license upon employment. At least 2 years of licensed driving experience.

**Preferred Qualifications**- One-year of experience in a recycling program.

- Forklift certified.

- Experience in collecting, transporting, sorting and baling recyclable materials.

- Possess good communication skills.

- Ability to follow schedules and meet deadlines.

- Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle.

- Class A or B CDL.
