Insight Global is seeking a Tableau Developer for a large health insurance client of ours. They will be part of the Informatics team with Aetna, focusing on Medicare stars applications called stars central. It focuses in on Tableau visualization, creating the queries in the backend, fine tuning of dashboards, data quality and testing.
Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops, and maintains complex Tableau reports for scalability, manageability, extensibility, performance, and re-use.
- Interacts directly with key high-level stakeholders, end-users, and colleagues to design and develop Dashboards in Tableau.
- Works with other teams to create useful reports and dashboards that provide insight, improve/automate processes, or otherwise add value to team.
- Strong experience of data extracts, data blending, publishing dashboards.
- Apply advanced technical, analytical, and consultative skills utilizing an extensive knowledge of healthcare data, Tableau, and information systems to develop and deliver reporting components that satisfy business needs within defined SLAs.
- Extensive knowledge of data visualization techniques and visual design concepts using Tableau
- Design and develop user friendly dashboards using complex health care datasets from different Medicare data sources.
- Creates high performance Tableau reports that address strategic and tactical business needs.
- Implements best practices to ensure dashboard design consistency across all dashboards for best user experience.
- Very good understanding of relational data structures and skilled in writing complex data analysis queries.
- Provides technical expertise in areas of development, design, and implementation.
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through clear, understandable presentations.
- Ensure data quality and integrity in dashboards and reports.
- Resolves support tickets related to Tableau reports.

Skills and Requirements
- Bach Degree
- Advanced Tableau development skills required using Tableau Server Version 2023
- 5+ years of SQL Server experience required.
- Cloud experience (Azure of GCP)
- Health insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid experience
- Unit Testing * Proficiency with Tableau Prep and Tableau server are a plus.
- Hadoop: 1 year
- Python experience preferred. null
