Join our clients dynamic Data Cloud team as a UX Researcher and become an expert in the field, working closely with senior team members to drive the strategy, design, and growth of our cloud data suite. As a UX Researcher, you will leverage your skills in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, combined with big data analysis, to uncover user insights and emerging patterns. Your work will directly influence the development of cutting-edge products and services that empower data professionals around the world. UX Researcher Remote – must work PST hours $45-$48/hour 18 month contract Responsibilities: Collaborate with a high-performing UX Research team, combining expertise in qualitative research, surveys, usability studies, metrics, and big data analysis. Build and maintain strong relationships with PM and design teams within the Data Organization to stay attuned to stakeholder challenges and needs. Conduct a variety of research activities to inform product design, including ethnographic explorations, usability studies, heuristic evaluations, interviews, contextual inquiries, surveys, user journey maps, and benchmarks. Align research efforts with organization-wide priorities and success criteria to design and execute a research program that meets the company's needs. Must Have Qualifications: 3+ years of experience conducting UX research in technical domains. Ability to analyze research data quickly and present findings in a clear, impactful manner to influence product design and direction. Passion for learning new technologies and understanding user needs across diverse technical abilities. Strong communication and project management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in Social Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, with an undergraduate degree in a technical discipline. Demonstrated ability to impact business decisions across boundaries, especially in ambiguous situations. Proven storytelling and communication skills across various audiences, including leadership, engineering teams, designers, customers, and partners. Strong leadership skills to deliver projects and insights that result in significant product impact. Experience in planning research to align with business needs. Experience conducting research globally and working with international stakeholders. Knowledge of Microsoft’s customer privacy policies and tools.
