We are seeking Van Driver to provide safe and timely transportation for our members and create the most positive memorable experiences every day. The Driver will perform transportation duties in a safe and professional manner while providing first-class customer service. This is a part-time, as needed position. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Transport persons served to and from appointments, outings, or other events/activities. Assist ambulatory passengers as needed. Provide professional, courteous service. Coordinate outing schedules with management. Operate the organization's vehicle in compliance with organizational, state, and federal regulations. Maintain vehicle cleanliness, interior, and exterior. Monitor vehicle maintenance and performance through regularly scheduled inspections and service repair. Report safety and maintenance concerns to the supervisor. Record mileage for all trips; maintain various vehicle logs as required. High School Diploma or GED required. High school or equivalent Required experience: Excellent communication skills Must hold a currently valid driver's license and have an excellent driving record. A high school diploma or equivalent and fluency in English required. Knowledge of state traffic laws. Ability to professionally and cooperatively work with staff, management, family members, and the general public. Job Type: Part-time Physical Requirements: Ability to drive long distances for extended periods of time. Ability to perform considerable reaching, stooping, and bending. Hearing and vision abilities within the normal range (corrected) to drive safely and to observe and communicate with patients. Exposure to a variety of weather conditions.
