Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Designing and implementing new features and functionality for our Wordpress sites.
2. Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture, ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
3. Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
4. Troubleshooting any Wordpress issues and resolving them in a timely manner.
5. Collaborating with the team to design and develop new digital projects, improve the performance of existing applications, and provide third-level support to business units.
6. Conducting website performance tests and maintaining well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code.
7. Staying abreast of new developments in CMS, technologies, trends, and practices.

Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Wordpress Developer.
2. Proven work experience in web programming with a strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
3. Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.
4. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
5. Strong understanding of PHP back-end development and MySQL.
6. Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.
7. Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
8. Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.
9. Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks at the same time.
10. Great attention to detail, highly organized, and a multi-tasker.
11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
