Job Summary: The Bank Teller is responsible for providing excellent customer service to clients while accurately and efficiently processing a variety of financial transactions. The ideal candidate will maintain a high level of professionalism and ensure compliance with all banking regulations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Service:
◦ Greet customers warmly and ascertain their banking needs.
◦ Provide information about bank products and services.
◦ Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Transaction Processing:
◦ Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
◦ Issue money orders, cashier’s checks, and traveler’s checks.
◦ Balance cash drawers at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies.
• Compliance and Security:
◦ Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
◦ Verify customer identification and ensure proper documentation.
◦ Report suspicious activities in accordance with anti-money laundering (AML) guidelines.
• Sales and Referrals:
◦ Identify opportunities to refer customers to other bank services and products.
◦ Assist in achieving branch sales goals through proactive customer engagement.
• Operational Support:
◦ Assist in opening and closing the branch as needed.
◦ Maintain a clean and organized teller station.
◦ Participate in branch meetings and training sessions.

 

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience is desirable.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with banking software.

Location: Napa, Ca

Compensation: $20.00-$28.00/hour
