About the Logistics Manager role Lead and motivate a team of drivers and warehouse staff working across two shifts Manage inventory of 300+ SKUs, a mix of products we manufacture and purchase from outside suppliers Ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders across sales channels Maintain accurate inventory in ERP software, working to minimize variance Oversee maintenance and cleaning of Compass vehicles Keep clean and well organized the physical distribution spaces including the warehouse, loading dock and shipping and receiving areas You'd make a great Logistics Manager if you: Highly organized Strong communicator, working directly with suppliers, customers and other Compass team members in writing and orally Self-motivated and capable of motivating others to complete the job, safely, accurately and efficiently Digitally fluent, comfortable using our ERP system to achieve effective inventory management A systems builder--we are always looking to improve and grow our capabilities Summary of Experience Must be able to multi-task and work independently as well as contribute to the overall success of the team. 2+ years warehouse management experience 3+ years of management experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-oriented role A bachelor's degree, 4 years honorable discharge US Military, or 4 years management experience Basic Qualifications Clean driving record, able and willing to learn to drive a variety of vehicles (non CDL) in and around Washington, DC Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted, 75lbs with a buddy Ability to stand for periods up to 8hrs, moving frequently to help pack orders Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to work in a fast paced environment with multiple priorities Fluency in English, Spanish preferred but not required Proficient in computer use, including ERP software Likes coffee and believes in the value of what we do The pay range for this role is: 100,000 - 130,000 USD per year (Ivy City Roastery) #J-18808-Ljbffr
