Midland Health is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Tech
Shift and Schedule
Monday - Friday 7a-3:30 (possible call) Holidays are required to be worked that fall on these days.
Position Summary
•Practices technology founded upon theoretical knowledge and concepts, uses equipment and accessories consistent with the purposes for which they were designed, and employs procedures and techniques appropriately
•ssesses situations; exercises care, discretion, and judgment; assumes responsibility for professional decisions; and acts in the best interest of the patient.
•cts as an agent through observation and communication to obtain pertinent information for the physician to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient and recognizes that interpretation and diagnosis are outside the scope of practice for the profession.
•The Ultrasound Technologist uses equipment and accessories, employs imaging and procedures, performs services in accordance with an accepted standard of practice, and demonstrates expertise in providing quality care to the patient, self, and other members of the healthcare team.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
•RDMS required.
Housing is NO longer included. Traveler/agency will need to secure housing
Mask must be work in all areas of the hospital. Hallways, Cafeteria (unless you are dining), Teaming Stations, Department, Common Areas, Etc.
**If a traveler is selected for assignment, a FULL State and County Criminal Background Check is required, not limited to 7 years. **
