The Orthopedic Cast Technician is a trained professional who possesses technical skills in the area of Orthopedics. The role encompasses technical skills of application of casts and splints; technical assistance concerning devices, and acts a resource for patients regarding their orthopedic care. High school degree or equivalent. Three years experience as a Registered Orthopedic Technologist preferred. Certification by National Board of Certified Orthopedic Technologists preferred. BLS from the American Heart Association required.
