About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of HR for the US and Mexico region. This role is pivotal in driving the company's goal of diversity and inclusion and will involve partnering with business leaders to develop and implement people strategies, providing HR leadership and support to the region, and representing business needs to ensure the region receives the necessary support. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with a "can-do" attitude, capable of interfacing in an influential and collaborative manner, interpreting HR data, and building a culture of accountability and high performance. Responsibilities also include collaborating with talent and learning partners, establishing true partnerships with talent acquisition, and identifying best HR practices. Candidates for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or a related field, with at least 12 years of progressive management experience as an HR business partner. The role requires a strategic thinker who is pragmatic, data-driven, and focused on delivering results. The ideal candidate will be a strong problem-solver, have deep expertise in employee relations and performance management, and be passionate about continuous improvement. Experience in succession planning, leading teams, and working with US labor and employment law is essential. The role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to lead change, and a high level of comfort in diverse settings, from the plant floor to executive meetings. Candidates must be able to handle ambiguous responsibilities and be adaptable to a variety of HR issues.
